Summary: We loved staying here, especially since we could bring our dogs. The fenced in yard was the perfect spot to hangout at night next to the campfire. The house was very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed and then some! The only con we have about staying here was the fact that the house is on a busy and curvy road, so backing our boat into the driveway was somewhat of a challenge, but we made due.

Summary: This was a nice play to stay, central to Elk Rapids and Traverse City. The house was in a denser neighborhood than we expected, but it was quite quiet. It is on the main road so there is some road noise in the front bedroom. The fire was lovely but the heating system didn't seem to work very well and the bedrooms were rather cold. The one bathroom is rather small. The gated fire pit area looked quite nice, but we weren't able to use it on account of the cold weather.

Summary: The house is lovely. And the yard is very nice. We had a very nice time. Only complaints that it's on a busy street. Be warned that there is no cable and the TV only gets a few channels that freeze up. Other than that, it was a very relaxing two weeks.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay! Just a half block from Elk Lake! Close to town and Torch Lake. One hour from Sleeping Bear. The house is super adorable and stocked with all of the necessities for a relaxing home base away from home.

Summary: This cabin was sparking clean and stylishly decorated. We were here in winter, and we loved the fireplace, and our dog loved the fenced in side yard. Everything was as described and communication with the host was timely. We’d love to go back!

Summary: We are so lucky to have found this gem! We will be coming back for sure! First of all the home is decorated like a high end boutique hotel - the colors, the comfortable beds and beautiful linens to a full kitchen. Everything you will need just like your at home. There is an outdoor side yard fenced in with a fire pit and the coolest little outbuilding that has coast chairs and a food ball table. We made s’mores at the fire pit with the wood provided near the garage - there is even an herb garden! The shower was full pressure and we slept like babies. We were worried about it being loud since we are near the lake but no nighttime noise at all - except for the singing crickets. Distance to the beach - easy with the two bikes provided or a quick walk down to the public access beach a few blocks away across the street. Downtown Elk rapids is a five minute drive and the Oasis bar and grill across from the beach has yummy last minute burgers if you don’t feel like cooking. Five star plus five more!! Thank you so much- we will be back!!
